David Bolton Photography

Hi, my name is David, I was born in Tenby where the Bolton family name is well known, my interest in photography accelerated about 17 years ago when I bought my first DLSR camera and I explored the possibilities of creative in-camera photography, which progressed to creative editing as well as composite photography.

All my work is self-taught, but I have learned so much from the amazing photographers that I meet along the way, many of whom are now my personal friends. I have a love of my hometown and express that in my photography and never tire of the images that I create of Tenby and the surrounding areas, so it was only natural that Tenby Images was born which is my web page and business name. There is little doubt that my approach to finding something different is evident in my photography and following the pack offers no interest to me.

I have had success at various levels of competition and salons throughout Wales and have had my images chosen to represent Wales at international levels.

My photography has progressed to printing, mount cutting, glazing, and framing of my images, all carried out at my Garage workshop here at home and now for the first time after acquiring new strobes and backdrops, I offer portrait photography sessions as well as group photoshoots for that special occasion such as Christmas, Halloween, etc where the studio gets decorated to suit the occasion.
