Wild Sparrow

My work is rooted in a love of making by hand and a deep appreciation for form, texture, and pattern. While my primary creative passion lies in working with clay—hand-building stoneware decorative pieces, my etched and hand-forged copper jewellery allows me to translate those ideas into a more intimate, wearable scale.
.
The geometric and mandala-inspired forms that feature throughout my ceramic work reappear in my jewellery as miniature compositions. Each piece is carefully etched and shaped by hand, echoing the rhythm and balance found in my larger decorative objects. Working with copper offers a warmth and tactility that complements these designs, inviting both visual and physical connection.
.
I see my jewellery as small works of art—objects to be worn, lived with, and enjoyed—each one carrying the same intention, craftsmanship, and sense of quiet detail that defines my studio practice.
